Now living in the home where she grew up, April is surrounded by the landscape her father created and loved. Her father, Kenneth (1910-92), especially prized his New Dawn roses; palest pink and a soft beautiful fragrance. He kept a beautiful yard. She still has lilacs, peonies, trees, and more. . .Hence: "Take time to stop and smell the roses.”
So the name Pink Rose has bloomed into this music to share. Through music, visual beauty and conservation awareness, people can reconnect with the serenity of nature, both on the inside as well as the outside. It is Nature itself that has inspired the music that April shares with you today.
"I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out until sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in." John Muir (1838-1914)
